Software Implementation and Support Methodology

Software implementation will be done by using PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology. The standard quote considered above has considered working of two PDCA cycles during implementation. The further iteration of PDCA cycles may be required for continuous improvement to reduce gap between client’s requirement and software workflow. Fast Software Technology commits dedicated support for implementation services for 2 cycles on the basis of pay per use model. The payments for services of each cycle needs to be paid after completion of each implementation cycle to continue for second implementation cycle.

Plan Stage: Fast Software Technology ERP consultant will visit client’s location for providing standard software features demonstration. These visits will be of 6 hours per day.
Customer’s representatives will attend the demonstration of software and training of the software operations. The customer’s representatives will confirm the software screens, reports and workflow suits to the business requirements of client’s needs and wants. If any of the software features are not as per expectation of client’s representative, such requirements will be noted as proposed customer customisation needs.
This exercise normally takes average 4 working days along with customer representatives.
On completion of this first round of training of the software, summary of proposed customisation requirements are prepared and commercials for feasible customisations are calculated.

Do Stage: After receiving the commercial approval from customer authority, modifications/customisation in standard software are undertaken by Fast Software Technology software development team.
The modified software is tested by Fast Software Technology ERP consultant to confirm modifications are carried out as per client’s finalized requirements.
This exercise normally takes average 15 to 25 working days

Check Stage: After removal of bugs identified in testing, the software is finally checked by Fast Software Technology ERP consultant.
The software modifications completed are demonstrated to client’s representatives. Then the customised software is provided for trial and practice purpose to end users. End users use the software and bugs encountered during the practice period are identified and removed by Fast Software Technology.
This exercise normally takes average 7 working days.

Act Stage: The customised software is launched live for use by end users. The software screens and reports are used by end users for mutually agreed period.
Any new modifications required in software are listed and recorded during usage of software.
Any non-usages of software are also identified at the end of this stage.
Based on actual usages of software, the ERP implementation review is carried out with end users after 15 days. Any new modifications identified during actual usages of software are approved by client’s representative to start running next PDCA cycle.
The estimated number of days for completing one implementation PDCA cycle requires 7 days of onsite visits by Fast Software Technology ERP consultant.
The 2nd Implementation cycle will be carried out with objective to reach at user acceptance agreement between end user and Fast Software Technology ERP consultant.
The estimated number of days for completing second implementation PDCA cycle requires 2 days of onsite visits by Fast Software Technology ERP consultant.
At the end of second stage of implementation cycle, the software support is handed over to client’s representative.
After handover of the software, if client wish to engage Fast Software Technology representatives for further handholding and support activities customer can opt for support contract i.e. AMC with Fast Software Technology as per variable charges mentioned for support and customisation charges.
The software handover activities normally require 1 day services of Fast Software Technology ERP consultant.
AMC contract will be signed for minimum 10 support visits per annum.
